The Postgraduate Network within EERA organizes the annual Pre-Conference, which is free of charge. The Pre-Conference attracts about 150 participants from all parts of Europe each year. In addition to the presentations Conference delegates it will offer special events for New Researchers, such as a Best Paper Award or ECER conference Scholarships for PhD students from Eastern European countries and it will assist new researchers to get in touch with EERA networks.

The ECER  Pre-Conference will furthermore include a series of “doctoral clinics”, focused on writing, publishing and applying for funding, which will “treat” all sorts of problems linked to a Ph.D.

Full-time postgraduate students who wish to attend the Main Conference can get a 50% reduction in the fee so long as they send a letter to the EERA Office from their supervisor verifying their status as full-time postgraduate
